08:30 AM: Pickup & Scenic Drive Bhopal to Sanchi Drive
Your chauffeur picks you up from your hotel or residence in Bhopal. Board the air-conditioned sedan and drive north towards Sanchi (approx. 1.5 hours), crossing the Tropic of Cancer monument path where you can stop for photos.
10:00 AM: Great Stupas & Museum Explore Sanchi Heritage
Arrive in Sanchi. Spend the morning walking around the Great Stupa No. 1, exploring the ancient monastery ruins, and seeing the historic Ashoka Pillar. Visit the Sanchi Archaeological Museum to view relics, sculptures, and ancient coins discovered at the site.
02:30 PM: Udayagiri Caves & Return Vidisha to Bhopal
Drive to Vidisha to explore the Udayagiri Caves, a collection of 20 rock-cut cave temples dating back to the early 5th century CE, featuring massive rock sculptures of Lord Vishnu (Varaha avatar). In the late afternoon, check out of Vidisha and drive back to Bhopal, dropping you back home safely before 06:30 PM.
