Detailed Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Floating Palaces & Royal Ruins Bhopal to Mandu
Morning departure from Bhopal (approx. 5.5 hours drive). Upon reaching Mandu, check into your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Central Group monuments: the spectacular Jahaz Mahal (built between two artificial lakes to resemble a floating ship), Hindola Mahal (Swing Palace), and the tomb of Hoshang Shah (India's first marble tomb, which inspired the Taj Mahal).
Day 2: Romantic Pavilions & Return Mandu to Bhopal
Start your morning with a visit to the southern group: the Baz Bahadur Palace and the high Rani Roopmati Pavilion, which offers panoramic views of the Narmada River valley. Explore the massive Jami Masjid mosque. In the afternoon, check out of the hotel and begin your return drive to Bhopal, dropping you back home safely late in the evening.
